Arkansas - A wonderful nature experience
Beautiful scenery, lots of trails, nature, mountains, lakes, rivers, excellent fishing, awesome history. A great educational experience in a variety of ethnic and timeline lifestyles from way to back to way current including all levels of income ranges. A well mixed variety of things to do from bright in the morning to the end of the late night. Convience of modern technology and almost nothing you can't find to do somewhere close by.

Memphis is a vibrant, interesting city with lots to do and see. The people of Memphis are very diverse, and they are all brimming with Southern hospitality. We enjoyed simply touring the extremely different sides of Memphis. Memphis is very relaxed, and we can not wait to return and see it again. The city offered many opportunities for inexpensive family activities during the day such as visiting the Peabody, a luxury hotel with trained duck performances, tours of Graceland, and Broadway performances at the Orpeum Theater. There were also plenty of activities for the adults, the most fun of these we found was the excitement on Beale Street. Overall, taking a family trip on a budget, we chose Memphis and will return!

St. Augustine is full of history and fun things to do. The Castillo De San MArcos (the old fort) is a must visit, along with St. George Street area shops, Ripley's Museum, The Fountain of Youth, and all of the wonderful, beautiful beaches. For those who enjoy lighthouses, the St. Augustine Lighthouse is over at Anastasia Island and their cafe serves great breakfast. Also unique is the Alligator Farm. There are numerous places to dine, such as the locals favorite, O'Steens, Caps or Barnacle Bill's that you would just have to try! All around, it is an excellent place to go.

There is a lot to do in the city. Great college basketball and football during the seasons and a minor league baseball team the Riverbats who play at home in Slugger field. Excellent art museum (speed museum), Kentucky Derby Museum, louisville Slugger museum, several older restored landmark houses downtown which offer tours, and lots of antique shops in the bardstown road area which is the arts and crafts..soho equivalent Louisville is home to the Kentucky Derby which runs the first Saturday in May. At the track (Churchill downs) there is a great interactive museum that is worthy of a visit. if you are here when the track is open for the regular meets, I recommend at least a visit. There is a very nice zoo and an IMAX theater which changes programs often.
